For many years, especially during and after the 2010 deadly Haiti Earthquake, CCAI has taken a leading role in supporting the orphaned and abandoned Haiti children through humanitarian aid and international adoption.

In January 2013, IBESR, Haiti’s central authority on international adoption has accredited CCAI to be an Organizations Approved for Adoption (OAA)! This is the first time ever in Haiti adoption history that the government has accredited international adoption agencies to place some of their adoptable children struggling in the orphanages.
